Once again The Dig for Victory Show will be hosting the 2017 Western area rally of the Invicta Military-Vehicle Preservation Society at the North Somerset Showground. The focus of the event is Britain in the 1940’s and so we accept a wide range of period vehicles to make the scene complete. Although the event is focused on WWII there is a Timeline dedicated to the display of civilian and military post- war vehicles.

For the public, the organisers will turn back the clock with exhibitions, costumed re-enactors, music, dancing, farm animals, machinery, cars, bikes, tractors, steam engines and of course military vehicles. For the exhibitors, the Victory Marquee will be open on the Friday night with music to get the show off to a flying start. In true 1940s style there will be a Victory Dance on the Saturday night. This will be a fun filled evening with live entertainment. At £10 the tickets are a bargain on what promises to be a great night.

Please keep an eye on the website for dance tickets going on sale.

Steeped in WWII history, the site is a fabulous venue for such an event and we are privileged to be guests of the North Somerset Agricultural Society. The Dig for Victory Show is a fixture not to be missed on the vehicle/re-enactor scene in the South West of England.
